Heavenly Haven

The cottage was beyond our wildest expectations. It was stocked with anything you can imagine for relaxation indoors and outdoors, entertainment, cooking, and comfort! Each room was carefully designed and decorated with the most beautiful treasures. The beds and bathrooms were a high point, and paired with an incredibly attentive host that clearly just wants her guest to have fun. We loved it all and if I could I would never have left!

Everything we could have wanted and more. The house is charming, cozy, clean, and stocked with anything you’ll need. Marya was incredibly friendly and responsive before and throughout our stay.

The sunroom was the loveliest setting for morning coffee and the patio perfect for grilling and outdoor dining. King beds in both rooms were a huge selling point for us. My husband and son loved the outdoor shower and used it daily.

If you like a lot of space for getting ready, the bathrooms are on the smaller side, so I suggest using the back room as your master, and sitting on the floor in front of the mirrored wardrobe for good natural lighting.

We love it so much we’ll be back next year! My kids (ages 8 & 5) and I were sad to leave!

My family stayed a week to celebrate my special birthday and it couldn’t have been more special! Not only was the cottage beautiful and comfortable, Marya went above and beyond to spoil me on my special day. I was greeted with birthday decorations and a delicious chocolate cream pie from Marion’s Pie Shop! What a surprise! Thank you for everything Marya - you are a gem!!! ❤️

Adorable high-end cottage w perfect Cape Cod charm

My husband, 12 year old son and I had a magical week in Marya’s cottage. We have stayed in the Cape for many years of many cottages and this was definitely one of the best Marya is a hostess with the “mostess”: totally accommodating, very responsive and helpful, and super clean, neat, and thoughtful. You are set up in an adorable, highly comfortable home with all sorts of great nooks to hang out in. Gorgeous sunroom to start the day with a cup of coffee and a book. Tons of family game varieties. A great little bar for the evening in one corner of the sunroom and an amazing back patio with a luxury double outdoor shower, Bedrooms have huge beds (California kings) and linens that are super comfortable. The kitchen is the best with high end and adorable everything you need. The cottage is decorated with amazing taste and really makes you feel like you’re in the Cape. This home offers many amenities that others don’t. It goes above and beyond. We loved our stay and the spirit and energy that Marya created. Thank you!!

Marya’s home is a wonderful place to stay in Chatham. Beautifully decorated, plenty of extras, and you can feel the love she has poured into it. Lots of adorable little rabbits out in the yard, which our boys loved. Super close to everything Chatham has to offer.

Marya's nautically themed Chatham Airbnb "Oh Buoy Oh Buoy" has many advantages, located in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to shopping, restaurants, beaches, a bike path and other locations. The quaint cottage is tastefully decorated and well equipped. The two bedrooms each have king size beds and ensuite bathrooms, making the place comfortable for two couples. A well-equipped kitchen separates the two bedrooms which gives more privacy to each. The house is close to a bike path which connects to quiet roads along the Chatham waterfront and the village, making for a very scenic 12-mile loop. My wife and I have stayed in several Airbnbs in the US and Europe, and this is the best one yet.

Loved staying at this adorable cottage in Chatham! Just a short drive away from the main town and in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The interior of the cottage is decorated adorably and it felt like Marya thought of everything -from games to a picnic basket for the beach. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to use all the amenities! Marya was also such an amazing host - so responsive and proactive in checking in. Would definitely stay here again!

I can’t wait to go back someday for a longer period. This peaceful cottage is even nicer in person. The host thought of everything you could possibly need being on vacation. We had another wonderful stay! Marya is gracious and welcoming and her home is wonderful; our favorite place to stay on the Cape. It is a great size for our family (2 adults, preschooler, and toddler). Everything is comfortable and cozy. The kids loved running outside. Great stay in Chatham!

My son and I enjoyed our stay a great deal at this spot. It’s a wonderful option with two private bedroom and bath areas. Between them is a beautiful kitchen and living room. The porch area is wonderful as is the outside deck area. Great hosts too! Wonderful!

Marya’s place is a gem! Cozy and fully stocked withr everything you may need for a getaway. Walkable to nearby diners and DD! Quick drive to everything you may want to see in Chatham. Her home was peaceful and comfy. Very large rooms with en-suite bathrooms are perfect. So many game options in the activities closet. Our family loved our stay! We missed out on using the bbq and outdoor shower. I would imagine that in warmer months those would be fantastic. Thank you for sharing your treasure of a home with us!

Marya has a little gem here at Oh Buoy! Oh Buoy! If you are looking for an adorable little cottage with all the amenities and then some, this is the spot to rent. The linens were so fresh and clean, the beds were so comfortable! The front sun room is the best for coffee and family chats. The kitchen has gadgets galore for the food savvy chef and a nice little book for hanging out and prepping. We stayed for Thanksgiving. What a lovely little getaway! We didn’t want to leave, thank you Mayra and family! We hope to be back!!

Lovely cottage!

Beautiful house! We stayed two nights without 26 year old daughter. SO cozy, clean, and stocked with everything you could think of. The king size beds were incredible, the kitchen is beautiful and the owner had just decked the house out with Christmas decorations. Great location - one mile walk to Hardings beach and a short ride to town for shopping and great restaurants. We loved it :)

We loved everything about the house. It worked really well for 2 couples. Great layout with privacy for both bedrooms, king beds and a bathroom attached to both bedrooms. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and furniture. It rained during our stay, so we didn’t use the great set up outside. We did take outdoor showers, and it’s a double shower! The landlord was very helpful and responsive. Run, don’t walk to this fantastic Chatham retreat.

We had a fabulous stay at Marya’s place. After a long road trip it was a just what we needed - somewhere to relax but with plenty on our doorstep. Marya was a great host. She gave lots of helpful recommendations. If we ever come back to Cape Cod then Oh Buoy Oh Buoy will be top of our places to stay. We have friends planning a New England road trip for next year and this cottage will be included in our suggestions. Highly recommended

We absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful home, extremely comfortable, and the perfect amount of space for our family (two adults, two toddlers) and two friends. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, with all of the tools needed to cook many of our meals. The “fun” closet with games and toys (and lanterns, for when the power went out due to a car accident) was a wonderful touch. The outdoor shower is huge, hot, and peaceful. Marya was very communicative and flexible, getting in touch when the power went out, keeping us up-to-date on local events, and allowing us a late check out so we could enjoy an additional morning at the beach. The local restaurants, beaches, and downtown are easy to get to (we highly recommend the burgers at Mom & Pop’s). We plan to play again!

We had a great stay in Cape cod. The cottage is perfectly situated: a short drive from the town of Chatham and only a mile from the closest beach. We walked there multiple times a day. The small cottage was a perfect fit for our family of three. Loved being there during the off season (it flew like summer without the crowds!), and would definitely come back! Marya was a very responsive host. Thank you Marya!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Oh Buoy Oh Buoy! By far the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Marya thought of anything you could possibly need, especially for little ones!! We have a one year old and there were lots of toys and books for him to play with as well as a water table and beach toys! So helpful! Everything was also incredibly clean and felt so cozy. All of the unique Cape Cod themed decorations really made it feel like a true getaway. A wonderful stay on the Cape that we will always remember! Thank you Marya!

Marya’s cottage was exactly as pictured! My whole family loved our stay and we were very sad to leave. The house was more than well stocked and everything was easy to find inside. Best outdoor shower in town and everyone loved sitting in the sun room each morning and night. Can’t say enough about the location. Perfectly situated between Harding’s beach and Shops Ahoy plaza (multiple restaurants for breakfast/lunch/dinner, ice cream/shaved ice and liquor store all within a quick walk). It made our fist vacation with our one year old very easy to navigate. Also very close to the any of the Ferry rides to Nantucket! Oh, did I mention it’s a 5 minute drive to downtown Chatham?? There’s also a Dunkin at the corner for a quick dose of caffeine while the rest of the family is still asleep. I personally found that very helpful! Will be back!

If I could give Marya more than 5 stars I would!

Marya was extremely helpful leading up to stay, helped with coordinating go to restaurants and gave me a discounted day to ensure I was able to check in the day before so I would be able to get my friends from the airport and not worry about a later check in time.

I was staying with 4 adults which included myself and plus a toddler. Marya was so kind and left us an adorable gift basket that included a childrens book that absolutely blew us away! So incredibly thoughtful- she even purchased yard games while we were there to use.

Extremely clean, lots of information within the host books, plenty of supplies in the house that you wouldn't even think of bringing. Plus an amazing outdoor space and plenty of beach supplies.

I spent my downtime while my toddler napped in the beautiful sun room just soaking in the cape beach air.

The cottage was EXACTLY what we were hoping for and would love to stay again!

These Airbnb hosts are thoughtful and kind. We told them that it was my first Father's Day celebration with my newborn daughter and my wife's birthday - they left a pie, note, card, and extra toys for the baby. We'll certainly be staying here again in the future!

Perfect Fathers Day Cape Cod Getaway

I recently stayed at OhBuoyOhBuoy with my 14 month old son, my wife, and her mother. We had an amazing time! While the (in my opinion very ideal and harder-to-find) setup of two king beds, each with an en-suite was likely designed with two traveling couples in mind, it was perfect for our family as well. The daisy bedroom had ample space for our son's travel crib, and the armchair was nice for story time. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the property, from the very convenient outdoor shower, comfortable sun room, private back deck and cozy living room, to the convenient kitchen stocked, full of everything you'd need to do minor meal prep to (in our case) full-on cooking. It's become an unfortunate family tradition for us that it rains whenever we head to the cape, but being stuck inside a little bit more than we had hoped still felt very much like a vacation thanks to the super cozy and comfortable decor. The location was very convenient to both the beach and downtown Chatham, so we were able to easily squeeze in visits to both when the rain was holding off for a bit. The shopping center within a few minutes' walk of the house had some great restaurants and a killer ice cream spot as well. Some aspects of the house retain that traditional "cape cottage charm" underneath the recent remodel and refinish. These quirks added to the character for us though, and ensured that it didn't feel overly brand new and sterile. We cannot wait to plan a return visit!

OhBuoyOhBuoy was exactly as pictured & described, but even more! It felt like a photo shoot of the quintessential Cape Cod cottage. Amenities were over the top (so many extras). Comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, top notch kitchen, comfy living room, sunroom for coffee or cocktails prepared at the bar nook. The deck had a double outside shower, plenty of seating, and a gas fire element. A peek out the back door led to a charming herb garden - the attention to every detail makes OhBuoyOhBuoy feel like a dream. 1 mile to a sandy beach with a sidewalk! The location is on a quiet residential street, but minutes away from charming and bustling Chatham. The host was super accommodating and engaged. Definitely a charming Cape cottage with an interesting history and 5 Stars (10 if we could!). Forgot to mention A/C, games, puzzles, thoughtful items for the little ones who might vacation here, washer & dryer at your fingertips-the list of amenities is endless. BOOK IT if you have the opportunity!

I grew up on the Cape and love the Chatham vibe. Oh Buoy Oh Buoy fits that. It has a luxury feel without being pretentious. First impression was that the space was larger than it appeared in the photos. The kitchen is big and perfect for a few couples to eat together. The living spaces are comfortable with room to move. It was rainy so I was unable to use the deck or outdoor shower but if it was sunny I would have been out there all day. I loved the level of privacy afforded here. The cottage has 2 king bedrooms each with a private bath on opposite ends. Something I look for when I want to get away with friends. It’s on a quiet side street and a quick walk to lots of restaurants and shops. The beach is a 10min walk away. Chathams main downtown is a short drive. We spent $10 on an uber and had a nice night out. The hosts were great. I will definitely return with friends!
