Some of the Amenities You Can Expect

The home is a side-walked stroll of numerous restaurants and shops, a bustling harbor with watercraft rentals and a buy off the boat seafood shanty.  Conveniently located less than 2 miles from the Chatham’s bustling downtown, guests can be in the thick of the action in minutes and escape back to the sanctuary of Oh Buoy Oh Buoy just as quickly.  When guests don’t  want to venture out, there are games and puzzles, high speed wifi, smart TVs in the living room and second bedroom, cozy indoor electric fireplace for heat or ambiance and a propane fire pit on the deck. 

Guests will have full use of the entire home. High quality linens and towels included. 

Sunroom

Upon entering the cottage guests will be wowed by this casually elegant, quintessentially Cape Cod sunroom.   A vintage tea cart turned bar is the perfect spot to mix a cocktail or mocktail or set down a pot of coffee or tea. Sink into the white linen sofa or generous armchair with a good book or choose an activity from the game closet. Or grab a seat on the chinoiserie bench or director’s chairs and settle in for some fun.  Featuring white washed walls and knotty pine ceilings and a wall of sliders with screens and a cooling ceiling fan, this space is made for lounging and entertaining. In the late afternoon you will want to throw open the doors and enjoy the sea breeze!

Living Room

If you can tear yourself from the sunroom, the living room is a comfortable space for game playing, tv watching or just chilling out.  Featuring two very comfortable armchairs which have been known to induce spontaneous napping and a generous queen size pull out sofa, guests can enjoy downtime around the 43 inch smart tv and electric fireplace.   The fireplace can be used for warmth on cool shoulder season evenings or without the heat fan for ambiance anytime the mood strikes.  This living room also has a wall unit mini split AC unit to cool and dehumidify the space on demand.

The Kitchen

King Ensuite 1

 Each uniquely decorated bedroom features a comfortable king bed, ensuite bath, and mini split AC for personalized comfort. Enjoy vintage charm with modern amenities—crisp white linens, cottage-style furniture, original artwork, and whimsical decor. Ample storage, including a generous closet and mirrored dresser, caters to even the heaviest packers, with a washer and dryer on-site for added convenience. The cheerful blue and yellow bathroom includes a pedestal sink, stand-up shower, and eco-friendly septic-safe toilet paper. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!

King Ensuite 2

Inspired by Cape Cod’s seasonal daisy blooms, this fresh and serene room honors the former owner and two special women. A plush king bed with bedside storage baskets and adjustable reading lamps sets the tone. A mirrored wardrobe offers plenty of storage, while the comfy cottage chair and footstool beneath a bright floral painting provides a peaceful spot to relax. Enjoy leisurely lounging with a wall-mounted smart TV and stay cool with a mini split AC unit. The vintage-inspired ensuite bath features a walk-in shower with a sitting ledge, pedestal sink, and comfort-height toilet—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.

Outdoor Space

No Cape Cod getaway is complete without outdoor living, and Oh Buoy Oh Buoy delivers! While the sunroom brings the outdoors in, but for true nature lovers, the expansive private deck and oversized dual-head outdoor shower are a must. Shower in the open air while surrounded by hummingbirds, butterflies, and hawks—plus, the Rinnai on-demand hot water heater ensures endless hot water. The nautical-inspired deck is perfect for alfresco dining with a six-person table, umbrella, and gas grill. Afterward, relax by the propane fire pit, with overhead string lights casting a cozy glow for evening enjoyment.
